Give examples of opening teasers?
In shows like Luther the most obvious kind of opening teasers this show gives of is, Luther is always there, its either with a victim or him on his own, it always looks like somethings going to happen for example, In the last episode the shows started with Luther standing on the edge, it started making you think is this going to be the end of things, its makes you want to watch the show more as you want to see what happens.

How would you describe that 'Quests' of the key protagonsits of crime drama.
The quests of the key protagonists are to ask the question of why are they doing this?
Luther does it to prove himself and Horatio does it to clean up the streets. Each main character does it for there own benfit, to make them look good.
How have shows you've seen either opened or closed narratives
Shows that i have seen that have started with a  a closed ending are CSI, Luther, whitechapel. These are shows that you see you done the murder at the begining of the show.
